The first thing I would like to say is “Happy Birthday” to my daughter who two days ago turned “29”. I remember that day like it was yesterday. At 6:22 p.m. after 26 hours of labor my wife at the time gave birth to the most wonderful looking baby I had ever seen. Today 29 years later is she still that most wonderful and innocent baby that she was when she was born. The answer to that is “no”. But are any of us. We each have a start and finish date in our lives. We all also know our start dates (our birthday’s) but do we know our finish date. In John 11:35 the bibles says, “Jesus Wept”. I believe that Jesus weeps each and every day for all the sins we commit. No not just for one of us, but for all of us. The saved and unsaved, the righteous and unrighteous, those that play church and those that know church. Jesus, our Lord and Savior loves us all and He weeps for us each day. As my daughter is no longer the person she was the day she was born, not one of us are. We grow up, form our own opinions, make our own decisions and we don’t allow God to guide our lives each and every day. Within the past month I have hit highs and lows. God was in the highs, and I know that He was in the lows as well. How do I know that? Well, I know that because He allows things to happen to us and if we keep our focus on Him, He will guide us out of those low points and show us what to do. All I can say is “Thank you Lord for loving me so much”. He did this before I even knew who He was. He did this when I was sinning with every word and breath. He did this before I took my first breath, and He will continue to love me after I take my last. We have an awesome God. He is showing us all things every day and all we have to do is look for them, they are there, just look. God has sent me songs to sing, and I will sing them. As many of you may remember I was in the studio on October 10th and we laid the new sound tracks for the American Christian project. The tracks are done and I am now practicing the songs on a daily basis. Please keep that in your prayers, as I prepare to go back into the studio to record vocals. I think I will wait until January for that, but God may put me there earlier then that. October was a great month of singings. God is truly blessing His ministry. Please keep it in your prayers. God Bless to all of you and have a very Happy Thanksgiving. Love you all. Bob Matelski |
